Might be worth making a watch app so that, for quick adjustments, users can just use a smartwatch to control the console. This would likely be effectively a completely separate app which just uses the same internal synchronization system (although for iOS, it would probably have to be somewhat of a companion app, which uses the phone app to connect to the console and then queries data through its own internal API).
